As the founder of MultiPass Consulting, she helps communities and organizations across the country develop and improve their behavioral health crisis systems.

Dr. Balfour also serves an Executive Policy Advisor at Connections Health Solutions, where she previously held the role of Chief of Quality & Clinical Innovation. In that role, she led the transformation of the Crisis Response Center in Tucson into the centerpiece of a nationally recognized crisis system and played a vital role in Connections’ expansion into multiple states.

Dr. Andrews is a board member of the American Association of Suicidology (AAS) and chair of the AAS Advisory Council, facilitator of Missouri’s Suicide Prevention in Healthcare ECHO, a member of the Missouri Suicide Prevention Network Executive Committee and Suicide Prevention in Schools Committee Chair, a recipient of the 2022 American Association of Suicidology Roger Tierney Service Award and a ZeroSuicide Academy Faculty member. Dr. Andrews is a strong adherent of scientific methodology as the best path to understanding suicide and developing evidence-based interventions. Dr. Andrews is a suicide attempt survivor and a proponent of engaging lived experience into formal scientific inquiry to improve our suicide prevention efforts. Dr. Andrews is also known far and wide for his mastery of Facebook memery (meme-ory).

The ICH board held an in-person board meeting on May 1 and 2. Our meeting focused on ICH business and a new strategic plan was developed and, most importantly, how to best support ICH members.
